Job summary

South Central FS, Inc. in Sullivan, IL is seeking a general laborer to support warehouse and field operations. You will load and unload materials, record data, and coordinate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include daily safety checks, inventory management, and basic shop maintenance. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license; extensive overtime may be required. Comprehensive benefits and a pension are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to work extended hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Records data according to regulations and standards.
• Sets up material handling, blending, storage, and transport for delivery of products.
• Performs and records daily safety checks of equipment as required.
• Loads and unloads containers, pallets, or materials and products safely.
• Ensures products are evenly balanced and distributed on trucks/trailers and proper axle weights are met.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Responsible for inventory control.
• Maintains an appropriate inventory of parts for repairs and maintenance.
• Housekeeping of the shop and general maintenance of shop & equipment.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies (EHS, OSHA, DOT).
• Assist/perform repair and maintenance of equipment at location.
