MEI Industrial Solutions is hiring for a full-time night-shift Field Operations role in Rayville, LA. You will operate forklifts and mechanized devices, set up and manage rigging, and move heavy loads with care and precision.

Responsibilities

• Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability.
• Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools.
• Select gear such as cables, pulleys, and winches according to load weights and schedules.
• Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces.
• Tilt, dip, and turn suspended loads to maneuver around obstacles.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery.
• Manipulate rigging lines, hoists, and pulling gear to move or support materials.
• Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures using bolts and clamps.
• Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
• Operate vehicles and mechanized devices such as forklifts.
• Submit to safety-focused practices and maintain high professionalism in daily tasks.

Or do you have a background in construction? Can you work night shift? THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT ROLE, WORKING HOURS ARE M-F, 6PM - 6AM.

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more
• General labor experience preferred; commercial construction experience is a plus.
• Experience using hand and power tools; previous experience using forklifts and other construction experience is a plus
