POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Specialist II supports production and facility operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving equipment to maximize uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency. This role works closely with production, engineering, contractors, and other technical team members to support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment performance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Monitor equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Support automation, equipment, and process improvement projects
• Assist with troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and capital projects
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors when necessary
• Communicate effectively with team members across all shifts
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical education and/or 1-3 years’ equivalent maintenance experience
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance principles
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment (Preferred)
• Basic knowledge of PLC systems and machine controls (Preferred)
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• AutoCAD experience is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb, reach, and perform physical maintenance activities
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials and equipment as required
• Ability to work in a warehouse and industrial environment
• Ability to safely work around powered industrial equipment and machinery
• Ability to work overtime as needed to support operational requirements
