Job summary

Pace Industries, LLC in Loyalhanna Township, PA is seeking a General Finisher to support die casting operations by performing secondary operations and assisting with setup as needed.

You will stand for long shifts, use gauges to verify casting quality, follow safety rules, wear PPE, complete paperwork, and be willing to work overtime. Training and occasionally cross‑training in other operations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform secondary operations as needed and assigned.
• Perform other associated duties, functions or work as may be needed or assigned to continue the productive operation of the company.
• Perform and assist in the set up and adjustments of equipment as experience is gained.
• Change and replace tools when necessary as experience is gained.
• Use of gauges to assure the quality of the castings.
• Stand and operate machine or equipment continuously-a minimum of 8 hours per day.
• Participate in training programs deemed necessary by the company.
• Required to complete paperwork associated with the job. (time card, machine card, production records, charts, etc.)
• Must follow all safety rules and work in a safe manner, so not to endanger self or co-workers. Report unsafe conditions.
• Wear required personal protective equipment.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Capable and willing to work overtime.
