Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a General Laborer / Production Associate in North Charleston, SC. The role supports the production department, ensuring clean work areas and efficient workflow.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, can pass a drug test and background check, and is willing to work the 3:30pm-12am shift with adherence to safety policies. Training is provided for PEM inserters and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to pass a 10-panel oral drug test and a criminal background check.
• Willingness to work Second Shift (3:30pm-12am) and comply with safety policies.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
• Experience operating or training on PEM inserters and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and debris-free work areas, manage waste.
• Assist with general production labor tasks such as grinding or deburring parts.
• Operate punching machines to cut parts from sheet metal.
• Place and organize punch parts onto pallets for efficient workflow.
• Move materials using pallet jacks and/or forklifts to designated areas.

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and motivated General Laborer / Production Associate to join their team. As a General Laborer / Production Associate, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: General Laborer / Production Associate

Location: North Charleston, SC

Pay Range: $19

Shift: Second Shift, 3:30pm-12am, Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

• Ensure work areas are clean and free of debris and scrap material, placing waste in proper receptacles
• Assist with general production labor needs such as grinding or deburring parts
• Operate punching machines to cut parts out of sheet metal
• Place and organize punch parts onto pallets for efficient workflow
• Move materials using pallet jacks and/or forklifts to designated work areas

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to pass a drug test (Oral - 10 Panel) and a criminal background check
• Willingness to work the specified shift hours and adhere to safety policies
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards
• Ability to operate machinery such as PEM inserters and forklifts (training provided if necessary)
