Job description

General LABORER ***NO PER DIEM*** ADM BIO Products

Will perform various labor-intensive tasks in an industrial setting under the supervision of a foreman or supervisor. Tasks include operating hand and power tools, site cleaning and preparation, trench digging, setting braces, scaffolding erection, debris cleanup, and waste removal. Assistance to other craft workers may be required, along with other duties as assigned.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform strenuous manual labor tasks.
2. Shovel asphalt or other materials into construction areas.
3. Assist in patching asphalt with hot and cold mix; excavate and fill trenches and ditches.
4. Maintain a clean and safe job site, securing tools and equipment daily.
5. Handle and store materials properly.
6. Load/unload trucks and transport materials.
7. Follow safety procedures and report incidents promptly.
8. Possess basic knowledge of equipment, materials, and safety protocols.
9. Have some knowledge of first aid and safety precautions.
10. Work independently, adhering to schedules.
11. Lift heavy objects, stand/walk for long periods, perform physical labor under adverse conditions.
12. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
13. Use tools and equipment safely and properly.
14. Follow written and oral instructions accurately.
15. Maintain consistent attendance and dependability.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.
