Job summary

Bay Metal Works Inc. is seeking a General Labor role to support production flow by loading, unloading, and moving materials. The worker follows work orders or oral instructions to identify items to be moved and uses forklifts or hand trucks as needed.

Responsibilities include packaging products for shipping, deburring and detabbing parts from laser equipment, and potentially delivering finished goods to local customers with company vehicles. A valid driver license may be required.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: HS diploma or GED; 1–3 years in manufacturing.
• Strong reading comprehension to interpret work orders and oral instructions.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy and attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials using hands, hand truck, and forklift.
• Package and prepare product for shipping using wrapping and banding tools.
• Deburr and detab parts from laser machine.
• Deliver finished goods to local customer locations using company truck (if required).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
