Job summary

Basalite Building Products, LLC is a leading manufacturer of concrete masonry products in the Western United States, offering a range of blocks, paving stones, wall systems and garden products. This full-time role supports the Production Department, handling boards, packaging products, and assisting operators while upholding safety and quality standards.

The position requires basic math and reading/writing skills, ability to read a tape measure, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
• Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Able to read the tape measure.
• Ability to operate forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Packages different types of products.
• Checks for defects on the equipment.
• Stacks boards by hand and transfers them to the inventory yard.
• Assists machine operator as needed.
• Must always display team player attitude.
• Communicates and reports any issues to the supervisor.
• Checks boards for defects or contamination.
• Continuously checks for quality.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Operates forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representatives.
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required.
