Job summary

This full-time role supports the Production Department, handling boards, packaging products, and assisting operators while upholding safety and quality standards.

The position requires basic math and reading/writing skills, ability to read a tape measure, and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Packages different types of products.
• Checks for defects on the equipment.
• Stacks boards by hand and transfers them to the inventory yard.
• Assists machine operator as needed.
• Must always display team player attitude.
• Communicates and reports any issues to the supervisor.
• Checks boards for defects or contamination.
• Continuously checks for quality.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Operates forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representatives.
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required.

Salary Range:$18.61-$19.61/ HR DOE

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Plant Superintendent and/or Shift Supervisor, this position supports the Production Department in all areas of manufacturing. This position is responsible for the correct function of the equipment; hand stacks boards or stakes and moves to inventory areas; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.
