Job summary

Sysco in Norcross, GA seeks an Installer responsible for installing foodservice equipment per project specs, safely delivering and placing equipment, and coordinating with plumbing/electric trades.

The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, reading specifications/blueprints, and traveling occasionally. Baseline Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm; must be willing to travel up to a week per month.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience or schooling in general construction and use of hand/power tools; ability to read and understand specifications and blueprints.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel & Word); strong analytical, organizational skills and ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and work independently.
• Must have a valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and driving record that meets insurability standards; must be able to travel for overnight stays; ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

$23.61+ depending on experience

Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm (baseline schedule, can vary slightly) MUST be willing to travel on occasion (Max 1 week travel at a time) per month

Examine and test equipment for defects to ensure proper functioning. Follow all safety guidelines, maintaining a clean work area and machines/tools organized.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Required: High School diploma or equivalent and experience or schooling on general construction and the use of hand and power tools as well as the ability to read and understand specifications and blueprints. intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel & Word), strong analytical, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and work independently. Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills. Must have a valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and driving record that meets company insurability standards. Must be able to travel for overnight stays. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Successful completion of an accredited Technical/Trade School and forklift certification.
