Job summary

Edward Don & Company seeks an Installer to install foodservice equipment per project specs, safely and on time. You will handle complete delivery, uncrating and placement, collaborating with plumbers and electricians to resolve issues and stay on schedule.

Must lift up to 75 lbs and use hand or power tools. Required are a high school diploma or equivalent with construction/tool experience, plus proficiency in Excel/Word, strong problem solving, and reliable driving.

Qualifications

Collaborate with plumbers/electricians and all mechanical trades to resolve all issues and stay within the timeframe and install bid. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Install equipment using hand or power tools

Examine and test equipment for defects to ensure proper functioning. Follow all safety guidelines, maintaining a clean work area and machines/tools organized.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Required:

High School diploma or equivalent and experience or schooling on general construction and the use of hand and power tools as well as the ability to read and understand specifications and blueprints. intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel & Word), strong analytical, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and work independently. Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills. Must have a valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and driving record that meets company insurability standards. Must be able to travel for overnight stays. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Preferred:

Successful completion of an accredited Technical/Trade School and forklift certification.
