Job summary

Edward Don & Company is seeking an Installer to install foodservice equipment per project specs in a safe, timely manner. You will manage delivery, uncrating, and setting equipment, collaborating with plumbers, electricians, and other trades to resolve issues and meet install bid timelines.

Requires high school diploma or equivalent, experience or schooling in construction and use of hand and power tools, reading specs/blueprints, and proficiency with Excel and Word.

Qualifications

$23.61+ depending on experience

Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm (baseline schedule, can vary slightly) MUST be willing to travel on occasion (Max 1 week travel at a time) per month

Responsible for complete delivery, uncrating, and setting in place of foodservice equipment. Collaborate with plumbers/electricians and all mechanical trades to resolve all issues and stay within the timeframe and install bid. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Install equipment using hand or power tools. Examine and test equipment for defects to ensure proper functioning. Follow all safety guidelines, maintaining a clean work area and machines/tools organized.

Required

High School diploma or equivalent and experience or schooling on general construction and the use of hand and power tools as well as the ability to read and understand specifications and blueprints. intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel & Word), strong analytical, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and work independently. Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills. Must have a valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and driving record that meets company insurability standards. Must be able to travel for overnight stays. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Preferred

Successful completion of an accredited Technical/Trade School and forklift certification.
