Job summary

Accurate Paper Box in Knoxville, TN is seeking a dependable General Laborer to support manufacturing and warehouse operations. Primary duty is removing excess paperboard from die-cut carton sheets so finished cartons move to folding and gluing. Training is provided for carton stripping.

You will assist with material handling, inventory, shipping and receiving, and other production tasks as needed, standing for long periods and lifting as required. Health benefits and 401(k) are offered.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.
• Hand truck, pallet jack, and/or forklift experience preferred; training is available.
• Material handling, warehouse, inventory management, shipping, and receiving experience preferred.
• Comfortable using handheld tools and performing physical work.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a steady work pace.
• Able to follow instructions and work safely around production equipment.

General Laborer – Production & Material Handling Accurate Paper Box is seeking a dependable General Laborer to support our manufacturing and warehouse operations. The primary responsibility is removing excess paperboard from die-cut carton sheets before they move to the folder-gluer department. This position will also assist with material handling, inventory, shipping and receiving, and other general production duties as needed.

• Use a handheld pneumatic tool, similar to a small jackhammer, to remove scrap material.
• Separate, stack, and move finished cartons without damaging product.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist with other general labor and production duties as assigned.

Primary Job Function

After cartons are cut from large sheets of paperboard, excess material remains around them. This position primarily uses an air-powered handheld stripping tool to break away and remove that material so the finished cartons can move to folding and gluing.

No previous carton stripping experience is required. Training is provided.
