Job summary

Tyson Foods Dakota City Plant is seeking a General Laborer for our Processing/Harvest team. This entry-level role supports safety and quality standards and performs a range of tasks across departments.

You will lift heavy items (40–80 pounds), work in extreme temperatures and wet conditions, and use knives and hand tools to cut and process meat products according to production specs. Shifts are all shifts; benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 8–10 hours per day.
• Comfortable in extreme temperatures and wet conditions.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to use various tools and equipment for processing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks in different departments within the Processing/Harvest facility.
• Handle and move products, including lifting 40–80 pounds.
• Work in extreme temperatures and wet environments (-10 to 105 degrees).
• Use knives and hand tools to cut, trim, and process meat products according to production standards.
