Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a General Laborer to support production on the floor, assisting operators and moving materials for packaging and shipping. You will help maintain quality and follow GMP and safety regulations as part of a dedicated team.

The role requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow directions, and communicate in English. Education: high school diploma preferred; on-site, full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators as necessary.
• Load and unload materials, ingredients, parts, products, cases, crates and pallets.
• Move, stack, or place items on conveyor manually or by mechanized means.
• Deliver production or area specific items to designated work areas for processing.
• Pack products in crates or boxes by hand.
• Sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units.
• Mark or put identifying labels on product loads.
• Construct or de-construct shipping boxes.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the assigned area.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Report quality and operational issues to supervisor as they occur.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with all regulations.
• Follow good manufacturing practices and company requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.
