Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. in Norton, TX is seeking a dependable laborer to support quarry and crushing plant operations.

You will perform manual tasks around the job site, use shovels and hand tools, and assist with clean-up of production areas. You will operate heavy equipment such as a skid steer, backhoe, or dozer as needed, and conduct daily pre- and post-inspections with proper documentation in line with company policies and MSHA/environmental rules.

Qualifications

The successful candidate for this role will be able to complete a variety of labor and operation tasks in the quarry and crushing plant. General plantlabor and clean-up of production areas, including shoveling from around conveyors and assisting with plant clean-up and operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete various manual labor tasks around the job site – including work with shovels, and various other hand tools.
• Operate some heavy equipment – such as a skid steer, backhoe, compacting roller, haul truck, or dozer – as needed.
• Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies. Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Effective communication skills applicable to position.
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
• Properly follow all company policies and MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
