Job description

Job Title: General Laborer – Conveyor Assembly

Classification: Temporary

Reports To: Project Supervisor

Pay Rate: $20.00
40 hours a week- 1st shift 9-10 hours a day.

Position Summary

Assist with conveyor assembly and installation in a warehouse environment. The role requires mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow instructions, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and install conveyor systems as directed.
• Use personal hand tools and tape measure effectively.
• Follow safety protocols, including wearing required PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hard hats, gloves).
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete tasks on schedule.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience preferred.
• Familiarity with basic tools and assembly processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and perform repetitive tasks.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.

Assignment Dates: 01/21/2025 – 02/04/2025. This assignment may end after 1 week.
The start time is Wednesday @ 8:30 am at a Mentor facility. You must have a toolbox and know how to use a tape measure.
