Job Description

This individual will work in the manufacturing areas, performing routine tasks such as labeling, stacking, packing, wiping, or assembling finished goods. Each task will be performed in the area specified by the Production Supervisor to support the needs of Production, and in a safe manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manually label boxes, containers, pails, and drums.
2. Manually fill containers using a hose and manual valve from the holding tank or tote.
3. Physically lift 1.5-gallon bottles (or smaller) into boxes, and add inserts or accessories for final assembly and shipping.
4. Hand-place caps or pumps on lines.
5. Weld caps using the ultrasonic welder.
6. Palletize items at the end of any line.
7. Clean work area daily.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. several times each day
• Ability to stand for up to 4 hours at a time
• Ability to perform repetitive bending and stretching daily
• Proper use and maintenance of PPE, following PPE policies and rules. Contact lenses are prohibited.

Organizational Skills:

Ability to take and follow directions.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written skills.

Problem-Solving:

High level of analysis, problem-solving, and creativity.

Technical Skills:

Ability to solve mathematical problems at the high school level. Functional and technical knowledge to perform the job effectively.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1+ years in a manufacturing role.
