Job description

Trillium Staffing is now seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers for a manufacturing facility in Warren, MI!

Candidate will be required to maintain cleanliness in and around the Hilo repair area of manufacturing facility. The primary focus is on cleaning restrooms, dumping trash, and removing debris to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment. Pay rate is$15-16/hour (will pay the $16 for candidates who stand out and have experience in manufacturing sanitation). This is aContract-to-Hire (90 days)

Schedule is 1st SHIFT: 6:00AM – 2:00PM. There will be No OT(but OT available if candidate is interested)
-Min. 15 minutes lunch break (more if needed) but most candidates want to work the 6-2pm to get off earlier. Paid for breaks (Supervisor open to break times).

Key Responsibilities:
-Clean and sanitize restrooms (toilets, sinks, floors, mirrors, etc.) regularly.
-Empty and replace trash bins in designated areas.
-Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness in and around the Hilo (forklift) repair area and beyond.
-Will be on hilo for 5-10% of day moving/dumping trash. Hi-lo experience preferred but WILL TRAIN candidates who have the capacity to learn.
-Pick up and dispose of debris including wood pallet pieces, shrink wrap, and other waste materials.
-Handle and use cleaning chemicals and supplies safely and according to guidelines.
-Restock bathroom supplies (soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) as needed.
-Follow basic safety procedures and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
-Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
-Perform other basic cleaning duties as assigned.
