Job summary

Rinker Materials in Thomasville, NC hosts a general laborer position to help produce reinforced concrete products for infrastructure. You will mix and pour concrete, operate mixers and conveyors, and keep equipment and workspaces clean, while transporting forms and materials across the plant.

The role requires comfort outdoors, basic tool experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently; forklift experience is a plus. Join a team that values dedication and growth.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read/understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
• Preferred – experience in manufacturing environment.
• Preferred – forklift operation experience.
• Must be able to lift/move objects up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to push/pull cart with 80 pounds of force.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and step up 20 inches.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and pouring concrete.
• Operating machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
• Assisting with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds.
• Loading and unloading materials and supplies.
• Sets up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products.
• Handling and moving heavy construction materials.
• Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear.
• Adhering to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products.
• Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management at any given time and in any given area

We are looking for a GENERAL LABORER to join our Thomasville, NC plant. As a general laborer with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.
