Looking to grow your skills in a hands-on industrial setting? A well-established metal service center in Stow is seeking reliable, motivated General Laborers to support daily warehouse operations, specifically focused on skid building and packaging.
This is a Contract-to-Hire (90 days) position. The schedule is1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 2nd shift, 3:30pm - 12:00AM. OT is required as needed (after shift & Saturdays).
Pay:
•Entry-Level: $18/hr
•Experienced (Forklift, Overhead Crane, Slitter): $19–$20/hr
This facility processes and ships industrial metals in all shapes and sizes. As a General Laborer, you’ll play a key role in production by building skids, packaging materials, and supporting team operations. Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) is part of the daily routine, so strong physical stamina is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
•Construct custom skids to match specifications
•Assist in packaging and prepping materials for shipment
•Fill in across departments as needed (production, maintenance, etc.)
•Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
•Wear appropriate PPE at all times

Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED
•Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
•Basic carpentry skills and comfort using hand tools (hammer, saw, etc.)
•Mechanically inclined with willingness to learn new skills
•Slitter operation experience is a plus, and eligible for upper pay range
