Job summary

Gifford TV & Electronics is seeking a General Laborer to join our team. In this role you will support worksite operations through manual labor tasks, keep the site clean, operate power tools, and help set up temporary structures as needed.

The ideal candidate is a hard worker who can meet the physical demands of the job, follows safety rules, and demonstrates strong teamwork, reliability, and the ability to learn on the job, even when performing repetitive tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet the physical demands, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash and materials.
• Provide assistance to onsite tradespeople such as welders, painters, and carpenters.
• Transport materials and equipment between locations.
• Operate power tools and industrial equipment.
• Set up cones and warning signs to increase visibility.
• Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures such as scaffolding.
• Other manual labor tasks as required by foreman or supervisor.
• Report any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair.
