Job summary

SERVPRO of Springfield is seeking a General Laborer to support restoration projects. You will load and organize equipment, prepare work areas, and perform production tasks while maintaining safety and clean job sites.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle checks, setup of staging areas, and coordination with crew chiefs. The role requires physical ability, basic math, and reliable driving privileges; background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• IICRC certifications preferred.
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds.

The General Laborer performs production processes to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment, as well as an assigned service vehicle. By providing quality, consistent, efficient work, the production technician represents the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.

Primary Responsibilities

Position Requirements

• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
• Must have a valid driver's license
