Job summary

SERVPRO - Frankfort in New Lenox, IL is seeking a General Labor to support on-site cleanup and restoration for fire and water damage. You will assist both water and fire restoration teams and contribute to a positive customer experience.

The role offers full-time hours (Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:30pm) with opportunities for overtime. Training is provided on-site by the New Lenox SERVPRO team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Support Water Restoration Team: Extract water to accelerate drying process, place drying equipment, perform interior demolition as needed, and provide general labor across restoration stages.
• Support Fire Restoration Team: Smoke damage cleaning, detailed cleaning of contents and rooms, inventory and packing, and use of content-tracking via mobile devices.

TITLE

DESCRIPTION Servpro provides best-in-class on-site cleanup and restoration service to customers that have experienced Fire and Water damage in their home or business. Our General Labors are always organized, calm, and friendly; going above and beyond to make sure their customer has the best experience possible.

• Rewarding hands-on work with supervisor interaction and room for growth
• Let the New Lenox, IL SERVPRO team provide your training
• Full-time core hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
• Extra hours as needed. Some positions require additional after-hours service rotation

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Water Restoration Team:

• Extract water to accelerate drying process
• Specialized placement of drying equipment
• Interior demolition as needed
• General labor for various stages of restoration

Support Fire Restoration Team:

• Smoke damage cleaning
• High detail clean of customer contents and rooms
• Inventory and packing contents
• Utilise content tracking via mobile devices
