Job summary

Landmark Aquatic Inc in Salt Lake City is seeking a General Laborer to support site layout, excavation, and installation across our commercial aquatic projects. You will operate tools, assist with concrete placement and rigging, and help maintain strict safety practices on active job sites.

Travel to out-of-town assignments is required, and a valid driver’s license is essential. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and physical stamina to perform demanding tasks daily.

Qualifications

• Must have one (1) year of construction experience.
• Must be able to regularly travel and work out of town.
• Must be able to utilize air transportation.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Prompt and punctual attendance at the shop or job site is required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g. standing for long periods, lifting up to 80 pounds).
• Pass background and drug screening; drug testing may be required.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety rules.
• Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site layout, measurement, excavation, plumbing, backfilling, forming, steel tying, concrete placement, rigging, and installation.
• Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
• Safely operate a variety of tools, including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, and various hand tools
• Safely operate heavy equipment
• Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures (e.g., scaffolding)
• Follow all safety regulations and ensure proper PPE is worn.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.
