BENNETTS CONSTUCTION is seeking a General Laborer to support site operations through manual tasks, keep the worksite clean, and assist trades. The role requires physical endurance and the ability to work with power tools and equipment.

The ideal candidate will be hard-working, able to meet the job’s physical demands, and comply with safety rules while contributing to a productive construction site.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet physical demands: lift heavy objects, dig, stand long hours.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Power tools and industrial machinery knowledge preferred.
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills required.
• Certifications or apprenticeship experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment and remove trash or hazards.
• Assist onsite tradespeople such as welders, painters, carpenters.
• Transport materials and equipment between locations.
• Operate power tools and/or industrial equipment.
• Set up cones and warning signs to improve visibility.
• Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures like scaffolding.
• Perform other manual labor tasks as directed by foreman.
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment needing repair.

• Provide assistance to onsite tradespeople such as welders, painters, and carpenters
• Transport materials and equipment from one location to another
• Operate power tools and/or industrial equipment
• Set up cones and warning signs to increase visibility
• Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures such as scaffolding
• Other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor
• Report any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair
