Job summary

Sonoco is seeking a General Laborer for our Menasha, WI facility. You will support production, operate various machines, and handle material tasks including forklift duties. This is a 12-hour rotating shift role with overtime potential and Sunday double time.

We value safety, reliability, and teamwork; prior paper mill or industrial experience is a plus, lifting up to 50 lbs, with full benefits and competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• Experience operating paper machines or in an industrial setting with physical labor preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read measuring devices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; reliable and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production environments to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
• Operate machines and mobile equipment as needed.
• Queue and stage materials, threadrewind and package rolls.
• Participate in machine maintenance outages and setup tasks.
• Work in a fast-paced team on rotating shifts and meet deadlines.

Location: Menasha, WIPosition: General LaborerPay: $27.98Shifts: 12 hour shifts: 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am (rotating) as well as rotating 8 hour shifts during the probationary period.Employees have the potential of earning $70,000 in their first year.
