Job summary

Universal Industrial Sales in Lindon, Utah seeks a General Labor team member to support fabrication of steel highway products. The role requires learning and operating industrial equipment, maintaining quality, and working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.

Who You Are
The General Labor position requires a person who is highly motivated, solves problems quickly, has the ability to multitask, and is responsible and efficient. You will need to be someone who can work with little to no supervision, be highly organized with strong work ethic, have a positive attitude, and a willingness and desire to be a team-player. Strong communication skills are required. You must be able to demonstrate consistent dependability and punctuality.

• Needs to be able to learn and manipulate industrial equipment and machinery
• Must meet high quality standards of production in a timely and efficient manner
• Will be required to help in various project and jobs that may or may not be a standard product that has been produced before
• Must be willing and able to adapt and adjust to all labor needs and support needs of the department
  

Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required

• Lifting-75lbs 2% of the time
• Lift 60 lbs. 40% of the time
• Ability to operate a Forklift, Side-Lift and Overhead Crane is preferred but not required
• Standing 90% of the time
• Walking 30% of the time
  

Environment
Job requires outdoor work and indoor in all weather conditions with extreme temperatures.
Day Shift: M-Th 6am - 4:30pm F 6am - 2:30pm
Night Shift: M-Th 4pm - 2:30am F 2pm - 10:30pm
Pay Scale: $17.85 - $23.96 DOE +OT ($4.00/hr Night Differential)
