Job summary

Harrison Western Construction Corp is seeking a Laborer for our Utah location. Laborers work under crew leads performing physical activities in support of construction work.

Responsibilities include assisting with construction, following safety procedures, operating tools, keeping the site organized, and complying with OHSA and MSHA policies. Must have 2+ years of construction experience, be able to travel, lift 50+ pounds, hold a valid driver's license, and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years construction experience either above or underground.
• Ability to travel extensively across the nation.
• Ability to take direction from leadership.
• Ability to recognize safety risks and hazards.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Work in standing, sitting or other physical positions.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
• ATF possessor preferred.

• Follows all health and safety policy and regulations including company policies, OHSA and MSHA
• Operates hand and power tools of all types to complete daily tasks
• Unloads tools, prepares site materials, sets up equipment and general job site organization
• Cleans and clears debris and hazardous materials
• Loads, or identify materials, machinery or tools, distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications and according to prescribed safety features
• Operates heavy equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned

Position Summary:

Compensation and Benefits include:

• $20.00 - $27.00 per hour DOE
• Per Diem -Based on location
