Job summary

Westtexascoolingtower is seeking a Skilled General Laborer to support warehouse operations, coordinate with drivers, and manage inventory data under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor.

You will count inventory, input data using Microsoft Office and inventory software, and help maintain a safe, organized work environment while collaborating with a team to ensure on-time deliveries and high customer satisfaction.

• Strong organizational abilities and mechanical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from supervisors to tasks (e.g., counting inventory, communicating with drivers, checking in trucks, etc.).
• Reports issues in a timely manner.
• Promote a safe and clean work environment by keeping workstations/equipment neat and organized.
• Work in a team environment to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Handle and transport materials and equipment.
• Utilizing computer programs such as Microsoft as well as inventory programs to accurately input data.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Skilled General Laborer assists in communicating deliveries with incoming and outgoing drivers, entering data and tracking inventory withing the warehouse. They report to and receive their day-to-day instruction from the Warehouse Supervisor.

PREREQUISITES & REQUIREMENTS

• Negative 10 panel urinalysis and breath alcohol test.
• Valid Driver's License and proof of U.S. Citizenship.
• Satisfactory background check.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of this role, with reasonable accommodation provided as needed. Requirements include:

• Working in hot, humid environments.
• Lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, climbing (stairs and structures), and stooping.
• Proficiency in reading from computer screens and paper documents; effective communication skills required.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
