What You’ll Do:

• Promote Safety: Prioritize safety in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, actively ensuring safety for yourself and others at all times.
• Perform General Physical Activities: Assist with plant operations, including using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
• Repair and Maintain Equipment: Support co-workers in servicing, repairing, and adjusting various equipment throughout the plant.
• Inspect Equipment and Structures: Conduct daily inspections and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations that maximize production.
• Operate Vehicles and Equipment: Operate heavy construction equipment or similar machinery to assist with plant operations.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience: Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of general principles of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production preferred.
• Flexibility: Ability to work overtime, extended hours, and outside in all weather conditions; tolerate loud noises.
• Mechanical Skills: Basic knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.
