We are looking for a GENERAL LABORER to join our Hawley, MN plant. As a general laborer with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and pouring concrete
• Operating machinery such as concrete mixers and conveyors
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas
• Assisting with transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds
• Loading and unloading materials and supplies
• Setting up forms in the manufacturing process of concrete products
• Handling and moving heavy construction materials
• Following safety protocols and wearing protective gear
• Adhering to quality control standards to produce high-quality concrete products
• Performing miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management

About You

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to read and understand work orders and instructions
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Ability to work outdoors
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds; heavier objects require equipment like forklifts or cranes
• Ability to push or pull 80 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders; step up 20 inches

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Experience operating forklifts, especially industrial forklifts
