Western Precision Manufacturing is seeking a dependable General Laborer to support welding crews on various job sites in Colorado. You will assist with material handling, site setup, cleanup, and general labor tasks while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Job Title: General Laborer

Salary Range: $18.00 – 22.00 Per Hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to support our welding crews on various jobsites. This position will assist welders with material handling, jobsite preparation, cleanup, and general labor tasks while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Previous welding or construction experience is helpful but not required; willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist welders with daily jobsite activities, material handling, and project setup.
• Load, unload, move, and stage tools, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare materials and work areas for welding and fabrication.
• Assist with grinding, cleaning, cutting, measuring, and positioning materials as directed.
• Set up and tear down equipment and maintain a clean, organized jobsite.
• Safely operate basic hand and power tools.
• Follow directions from welders, foremen, and supervisors.
• Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Report unsafe conditions, hazards, or damaged equipment.
• Perform other general labor duties as needed to support welding and construction projects.

Required Knowledge and Expertise

• Basic knowledge of construction and jobsite practices.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to safely handle materials and work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fumes.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and in varying jobsite conditions.
• Previous welding, fabrication, construction, or general labor experience preferred, but not required.

Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
