Job summary

System One, Inc. is hiring a Light Industrial Worker (General Laborer) in Edison, NJ for a contract, onsite role from 8am to 5pm. This position requires physical stamina, safety awareness, and teamwork in daily operations.

Responsibilities include preparing work areas, loading/unloading supplies, assisting maintenance, using basic tools, moving materials, and keeping a clean workspace. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds or more as needed.
• Strong attendance record and reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
• Previous experience in general labor, warehouse, manufacturing, maintenance, or related fields is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to perform a variety of assigned tasks.
