Job summary

Warehouse On Wheels in Evansville, Indiana is seeking a reliable painter/maintenance helper to prep trailers for painting, apply finishes, and perform basic repairs. You will prep surfaces, remove rust, use masking tape, and ensure clean, professional paint finishes. Team oriented role with opportunities for bonus and growth.

Experience with airless sprayers is helpful; high school diploma or GED preferred. Weekly pay and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Paint trailers and perform minor trailer repairs.
• Prepare trailer surfaces for painting per color scheme.
• Remove rust and prepare metal surfaces for paint.
• Apply masking tape to protect areas and ensure a professional finish.
• Coordinate with team and switch between tasks as needed.
• Store inventory as directed.
• Use scissor lift and ladder to complete tasks.
• Inspect trailers after painting.
• Prepare surfaces for decals (company name, trailer ID).

What youll be doing:

• Painting Trailers and doing minor trailer repairs.
• Prepare trailer for painting surfaces to approved colorscheme.
• Prepare metal surfaces for painting (removing rust, grind / sand surfaces,etc.)
• Usemasking tape cover areas to ensure professional paintfinish.
• Communicating with others.
• Switching from job to job based on need.
• Put inventory away as directed.
• Using scissor lift and ladder to complete jobs.
• Inspection of trailers.
• Prepare surface to adhere decals, (Company name, trailer ID number, etc.)

Qualifications to be successful:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Airless sprayer experience helpful.
