As a member of our team you'll enjoy excellent benefits, opportunities for growth, and an encouraging culture that supports work / life balance.General Labor Positions at Fontana Wood Products including banding, wrapping, grading and stacking materials in one or more departments throughout the manufacturing facility.This is the application to the general labor pool, not for a specific department.**Duties/Responsibilities:*** Sorts and stacks of lumber off of machine centers which includes grading, cleaning, wrapping product, banding and tagging.* Bands, wraps, ensures for final quality and prepares items for shipping.* Understands required grade/quality and inspects finished products for quality standards.* Understands, observes and promotes all safety policies and procedures.* Operates additional equipment related to production.* Reports production accurately through utilized programs* Reports work progress to Production Management.* Performs other duties as assigned by management.**Qualifications:*** Basic knowledge of lumber grading* Basic math as it relates to lumber* Basic understanding of technology for the operation of electronics for inventory**Physical Demands:*** Able to consistently lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds* 90% of work to be performed in an environment subject weather, noise, and dustWhy Clayton?Full-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package.
