Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a Packaging Associate for 2nd and 3rd shifts to join our production team in Utah. The role focuses on maintaining print and seam quality, handling rolls, and ensuring accurate data entry in our production system.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and knowledge of printing processes. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a leading labeling company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Experience or knowledge of lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred.
• The physical demands require standing and frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web per specification.
• Uses a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing as needed.
• Handles rolls and palletizes them to prevent damage.
• Understands basic printing and seam defects.
• Records data on paperwork and in the Globetek system.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).
• Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them.
• Must understand basic printing and seam related defects.
• Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek)
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

• Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience or in-depth knowledge of lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
• This position requires frequent walking.
• Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous eye concentration.
