Job summary

Premier Restoration Hawaii is seeking a Mitigation Technician to be one of the first responders to property damage on Oahu. You will assess the scene, stabilize the property, and begin the restoration process to help customers recover quickly.

The role requires hands-on, analytical problem-solvers who can work under pressure, collaborate with experienced team members, operate drying equipment, and communicate compassionately with clients while documenting progress using our field software.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and move equipment safely.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding environments.
• Experience in construction, maintenance, restoration, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to property damage caused by water, fire, mold, and wind.
• Participate in after-hours, weekend, holiday, and emergency calls.
• Drive company vehicles to job sites on the island.
• Assess damage and help develop restoration plans with Mitigation Leads.
• Set up, monitor, and operate drying and mitigation equipment.
• Perform demolition and removal of damaged materials.
• Assist with packing, inventorying, and storing customer belongings.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with customers.
• Document job progress using company software and mobile technology.
• Provide customers with updates throughout the restoration process.

About the Role

As a Mitigation Technician, you'll be one of the first responders to arrive when a customer experiences property damage. You'll assess the situation, help stabilize the property, and begin the restoration process that gets our customers on the road to recovery.

What it Takes to Succeed
