Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates machines (brake press, pinch roller, band saws, iron worker).
• Cuts and forms parts to print.
• Organizes materials for jobs.
• Operates forklift/crane per SOP and safety rules.
• Performs routine maintenance on primary equipment.
• Loads/unloads and receives deliveries.
• Logs work in ERP system.
• Drives loads to North when required.
• Ensures quality and safety standards are met.
• Follows proper lifting techniques and PPE.

What’s the Job?

Forms, cuts, saws and prepares materials as required per drawing requirements and shop work orders.

Position Requirements

• Ability to work on multiple priorities with frequent interruptions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment necessary to complete the job duties.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently without daily supervision.
• Ability to work with all levels of employees.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years

Physical Requirements

Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane. Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. regularly and 100 lbs. occasionally. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Noise level is usually moderate to high. Majority of the work is indoors. Temperatures can range from hot to cold.
