Job summary

Bay Cast Technologies LLC is seeking a reliable, motivated General Laborer to support daily production operations. This is an entry-level role for someone who enjoys hands-on work and a team that values craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency.

The 2nd Shift runs 4:30pm - 2:45am, with duties including housekeeping, deburring, baseplate prep, forklift operation (training provided), and shop organization. Successful candidates will lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods while following safety

Qualifications

• Prior shop or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Forklift experience is a plus (training available).

Responsibilities

• General Housekeeping: Sweep floors, clean machines, and maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
• Deburr Parts: Assist machinists by removing sharp edges and finishing machined components.
• Prep Baseplates: Clean, handle, and prepare baseplates for machining or shipment.
• Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move materials, parts, and scrap (training provided if needed).
• Clean-Up & Organization: Support shop organization efforts, including material sorting and tool placement.
• Safety: Follow all shop safety procedures, use proper PPE, and help maintain a safe working environment.
