Job summary

Chapter 2, Inc. is a full-service manufacturer seeking a General Laborer to support the production floor—moving materials, assembling goods, inspecting items, and aiding in equipment maintenance and a clean, safe workspace.

Applicants should be reliable and able to work independently or with others, have excellent attendance, and perform heavy lifting and extended standing. The position pays $20–$22 per hour in a climate-controlled facility with strong benefits and a positive work culture.

• Follow safety procedures and company policies.

Job description

General Laborer

The general laborer supports the production floor by moving materials, assembling goods, inspecting items for basic quality and assist in tending and maintaining equipment and a clean workspace. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to follow safety and work instructions closely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support production teams with daily tasks that keep work flowing efficiently.
• Collaborate with other workers and departments to meet production goals and deadlines. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Fasten or install components to form assemblies or subassemblies using hand tools.
• Inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functioning conformance to customer specifications.
• Move materials, parts, and goods using manual carts, pallet jacks, or certified equipment.
• Pack finished goods securely, apply product labels, and prepare items for shipping.
• Assist in the maintaining of equipment and clean workspaces.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein; this includes assisting other departments as needed, based on workload and productivity.
• Sustains safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations.
• To monitor, carry out and abide by company policies.
