Job summary

At Work Cincy in Madisonville, OH is hiring General Laborers for a galvanizing/met al manufacturing facility. This hands-on role sits in a fast-paced industrial environment; new hires start on the ground floor with on-the-job training across warehouse tasks and potential advancement into machine operation.

Training on first shift is 6am-2:30pm for 3-4 weeks, then third shift 9pm-5:30am with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous industry experience in rebar, steel, aluminum, fabrication manufacturing.
• Forklift experience is required; pass on-site assessment.
• Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled heavy industrial environment.
• Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods; steel toe boots required.
• Willingness to work overtime; transportation needed as site is far from bus stop.

We are hiring General Laborers for a galvanizing / metal manufacturing facility. This is a hands on position in a fast paced industrial environment. All employees start on the ground floor and are trained in multiple areas of the warehouse, with opportunities to advance into machine operation and higher pay once training is complete.

Responsibilities

• Move finished metal product throughout the warehouse
• Bundle, stack, and organize materials for shipment
• Clean debris and excess material from finished product
• Assist with loading, unloading, and general shop support
• Operate forklift when needed, must pass client's on site training first (approx 3 weeks)
• Follow all safety procedures in an industrial environment

Requirements

• Previous industry experience required (Rebar, steel, aluminum, fabrication manufacturing, etc.)
• Forklift experience is a must, will have to pass an assessment on site before operating.
• Minimal job changes and good longevity in previously held positions
• Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled, heavy industrial environment
• Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time
• Steel toe boots required
• Must be reliable and willing to work overtime when needed. This position is over a mile walk from the closest bus stop, so transportation is preferred.

Schedule

TRAINING ON FIRST SHIFT (3-4 Weeks) Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm

THIRD SHIFT Mon-Fri 9pm-5:30am , OT as needed

Pay

$17/hr for training, $17.25/hr for 3rd shift
