Job summary

Events Unlimited is seeking reliable staff to support a variety of event-related tasks in Oregon. You will drive, load and unload trucks, set up equipment, and maintain inventory for successful events.

Candidates should be flexible, with basic computer use and a strong work ethic; willingness to travel and work 7 days a week is expected. Training on additional equipment will be provided as needed.

• Ability to work 7 days a week and travel for events.
• Experience with computers and email access.

Responsibilities

• Driving, loading and unloading company trucks.
• Installing and setting up event equipment (tents, tables, chairs, decor, AV, lighting).
• Inventory/cataloging and storing equipment.
• Prepping customer orders and processing returns.
• Maintaining and cleaning equipment and work areas.

Job description

Basic Duties:

• Strong Email Communication Capabilities.
• Driving, Loading, and Unloading Company Trucks.
• Installing tents, tables, chairs, games, decor, furniture, sound equipment, video equipment, lighting, projection or other event equipment.
• Inventory/Cataloging/Storing of all Event Equipment and company property.
• Helping with Custom Projects.
• Organizing, repairing, cleaning, and general maintenance of Tents, Tables, Chairs, Games, Inflatables, Arcades, Audio Visual, Photography, Video, and Electrical Equipment.
• Cleaning/Mopping/Maintaining company property, vehicles, and equipment.
• Prepping Customer Orders.
• Processing Returns.
• Regular cleaning and updates of computers.

Requirements:

• Can do attitude.
• Work first career approach.
• Willingness and ability to pitch in- in any capacity to ensure a successful event or the success of the company.
• Documented and verifiable long term employment history at previous positions.
• Available to work 7 days a week, available for regular and consistent company travel.
• Ability to pass drug screening consistent with USDOT regulation.
• Valid Drivers License and own licensed and insured vehicle to get to and from work- company vehicles are provided for servicing events.
• Experience working with computers with regular access to email.
• Experience maintaining a clean organized work area.
• Basic technical knowledge and experience with PC based operating systems, installing and removing software, configuring programs, troubleshooting and solving technical problems, and performing updates.
• Experience working in a general labor capacity, doing physical work, or working in a warehouse/production capacity.

Additional Skills and Experience that are beneficial (will train):

• Experience Loading Trucks/Unloading Trucks.
• Experience driving large vehicles, box trucks, and towing trailers.
• Forklift Experience, Scissor Lift Experience, and Certifications.
