Job summary

Laborjack is seeking an on-site events team member in Fort Collins to deliver and pick up rental equipment at venues and residences. You will install gear per specs and supervisor directions, break down gear after events, and load/unload vehicles.

You’ll perform light warehouse maintenance, represent the company professionally on-site, and follow safety protocols. Flexibility is required for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

In this position, you will help set up elaborate weddings, intricate festivals, large corporate functions, and various other events. You will execute the delivery or pick-up of event rental equipment on various sites including, but not limited to venues, private residences, public streets, or corporate properties. You will properly install event equipment on job sites according to the manufacturers' specifications, training video(s), and expectations from the direct supervisor.

While inside the warehouse, multi-craft functions such as repair work, loading/unloading vehicles, or product maintenance may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up event rental equipment at venues, private residences, public streets, and corporate properties.
• Install and set up event equipment on job sites according to manufacturer specifications, training materials, and supervisor direction.
• Break down and pack out equipment safely and efficiently at the end of an event.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles at the warehouse and on-site.
• Perform basic equipment repair, cleaning, and maintenance while working in the warehouse.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and venue staff on-site.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols on job sites and in the warehouse.

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no prior experience required — on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
• Reliable transportation to the warehouse and job sites.
• Valid driver's license in good standing preferred.
• Comfortable working both indoors (warehouse) and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Positive, dependable, and detail-oriented attitude

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain on your feet for extended periods throughout a shift.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and reach as needed to set up and break down event equipment.
• Ability to work in various outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, and varying terrain.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and warehouse equipment as needed.
