Aspire Bakeries is seeking a General Labor, Bakery-Production - 2nd Shift at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. You will operate and monitor bakery production equipment, ensuring quality and sanitary conditions to meet production goals.

The role requires teamwork, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to food safety standards. 2nd shift hours are 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with weekend availability and an $18.00 hourly rate.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line equipment to support bakery operations.
• Set up equipment and ensure material availability for lines.

• Maintain accurate inventory and production data in the system.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation to uphold food safety and GMP standards.

About the Role

We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery-Production - 2nd Shift to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a General Labor, Bakery-Production - 2nd Shift, you will be accountable for supporting production operations by operating equipment, monitoring product quality, and maintaining sanitary conditions to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent bakery production. This role plays a critical part in meeting production goals while upholding Aspire Bakeries' quality, food safety, and GMP standards.

• Shift: 2nd Shift
• Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Weekend Availability: Required

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $18.00

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Operate and monitor production line equipment to support efficient bakery operations.
• Maintain line readiness by setting up equipment and ensuring adequate material availability.
• Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met.
• Support product flow by aligning, handling, and processing products according to specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory and production information within warehouse management systems.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation activities to uphold food safety and GMP standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure production continuity, safety, and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced production setting.
• Ability to perform manual lifting and meet the physical demands of the role.

• Flexibility to work schedules that may change based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Previous experience in the food manufacturing or food production industry.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and make minor equipment adjustments.
• Experience operating or supporting high-speed production equipment.
