General Labor 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM
QUALITY: Employee shall follow all required GMP, quality and food safety requirements. In addition, employee shall notify their supervisor or other designated personnel of all quality or food safety findings or incidents.
SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL: Employee shall follow Ferrara-Itasca’s safety & environmental objectives & targets, follow the plant safety rules, report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately, maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and the noise level in the environment is loud. Manufacturing experience is preferred. Food manufacturing experience is a plus.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift up to 50 pounds.
$19.08 per hour plus a $0.38 shift differential
