Full-time | Manufacturing | Location – Grayslake, IL, 60030 | Pay: Starting at $18 an hour
Schedule: 2:00PM - 12:30AM Monday - Thursday
TVH is seeking a focused dependable Entry-Level Machine Shop Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will work with CNC machines and assist with various machining processes, including stamping, hobbing, assembly, packaging, painting, drilling, reaming, tapping, milling, countersinking, deburring, and cutting. This position is ideal for individuals eager to learn, develop their skills, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Perform basic tasks in manufacturing, including stamping, hobbing, assembly, packaging, painting, drilling, reaming, tapping, milling, countersinking, deburring, and cutting.
- Operate machine shop equipment, including learning to set up and run CNC machines.
- Follow standardized processes and production methods to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Inspect parts using measuring tools to verify quality and meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Record production data and support routine machine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication.
- Assist with packaging, assembly, and finishing tasks to prepare parts for delivery.
- Work Experience: At least one year of experience performing similar essential functions.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and adherence to company policies.
- Safety and Quality: Strong commitment to maintaining safety and meeting quality standards.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve goals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Communication Skills: Proficient verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
