Job summary

Ferrara is seeking a production associate for the 1st shift (6:30am-2:30pm) at our Itasca, Illinois location. The role involves setting up, changeovers, running lines, packaging support, and ensuring sanitation, quality, safety, and productivity in the area.

The position requires overtime and weekend work as dictated by business needs. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to read and write English; GMP compliance is expected.

Employee is responsible for handling materials, candy, and producing product. They must set up, change-over, and run lines and/or assist packaging employees. They are responsible for sanitation, quality, productivity, and safety in their area. Position requires the ability to work overtime. As a result, it may require working varying start times, end times, and weekends dependent on business needs.
