Job summary

West Liberty Foods, Tremonton, UT is hiring for a General Labor role on the 1st shift. Base pay is $18.80 per hour with no shift premium. Candidates must be able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work at line speed.

No prior experience is required, though experience in food manufacturing is a plus. Must be 18+, authorized to work in the United States, and willing to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience: No previous experience is necessary.
• Age: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical Abilities: Stand long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, line speed coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive tasks to package products and place into boxes and pallets per specs.
• Perform duties to formulate different product types.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

General Labor positions include a variety of manual or tool-assisted, repetitive tasks to produce raw and ready-to-eat products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive tasks to ensure the process is being followed to ensure the product is packaged and placed into boxes and onto pallets according to specifications.
• Perform duties to formulate different types of products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Experience: No previous experience is necessary. Experience in food manufacturing or processing is a plus.
• Age: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical Abilities:
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist.
  • Must be able to work at line speed with the ability to make coordinated hand and finger movements.
• Environmental: Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
• Flexibility: Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
• Compliance: Must practice good personal hygiene. Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.
