Job summary

Furst Staffing is seeking a General Laborer in Loves Park, IL for a fast-paced packaging role on the first shift. You will operate packaging equipment, inspect products, and support line operations with impeccable attention to detail.

Shifts run 5:30 am–6:00 pm on a 4-day/3-day cycle. Eligible employees receive discretionary annual bonuses, merit reviews, paid time off, and company-sponsored health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Job description

General Laborer responsible for packaging, equipment operation, and product inspection on the first shift. Works an alternating 4-day/3-day week with a 5:30 am-6:00 pm schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack, sort, label, stack, and off-load products on the packaging line

• Operate and train on various equipment and machines

• Inspect product and packaging visually and physically for quality

• Weigh raw materials and feed gum into production machines

• Transport product and materials throughout the facility

• Clean and wipe down product materials and equipment

• Maintain general housekeeping of the work area

• Communicate courteously and effectively with team members
